Our Outdoor Education Programme creates learning through adventure while encouraging lifelong friendships along the way! At Lanner House Independent School, we understand learners for how they learn and teach them for how they understand. We underpin the value of Outdoor Education in every term’s programme and encourage our learners to learn through playing and exploring. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in Outdoor Excursions from a young age.

Our Outdoor Education programme starts with nature walks and talks in the Preschool while our  older learners will go on camps such as the ever-popular S.O.S School in the Wild Camp in Villiersdorp. A typical Outdoor Education excursion may range from a visit to the Cape Town Aquarium, an Alpaca Loom Farm, a World of Birds or Grape Stomping. Our High Schoolers are spoiled with a range of Job Shadowing Excursions in the FET
