Our Sport

At Lanner House we value the long-term benefits of healthy sporting opportunities.

Your child will be given the opportunity to get involved in several sporting codes, as we believe in lifelong fitness and health. It is expected of all our learners to do at least one summer and one winter team sport. In the Primary School such sport should include team sport and in High School, learners may follow their individual pursuits.

At Lanner House we encourage lifelong fitness and health through sport and participation. We understand that especially young children learn best through movement, and we embrace the value of sportsmanship and grit in the process of raising mentally and emotionally healthy teens. Participation is encouraged from a young age and all our Junior and Senior School learners are expected to partake in at least one summer and one winter outdoor sport.

Our preschoolers enjoy biking, obstacle courses and professional swimming and water safety coaching at the local gym and Crazy Splash pools in town. Team sports are coached at our Mountain View Campus in Pegel Street as well as the astro and tennis courts at the Montana High School fields across the road by our coaching team as well as external coaches from Crazy Splash, Rugga Roots, Shift Netball and Forza Tennis respectively.

Our seasonal sport offer includes swimming, tennis, athletics, biathlon, triathlon, cross-country, cricket, hockey, netball, rugby, underwater hockey, chess and eSports
