“Your Child’s Educational Happy Place”

Our Foundation Phase learners thrive in an Educational Happy Place where emotional safety and happiness are prioritised, and the needs of the individual are catered for. Here children are taught for how they understand and understood for how they learn.

The academic focus of our Foundation Phase is to develop a firm foundation in the three basic learning areas: Numeracy, Literacy and Life Skills. Learning takes place through problem-solving and investigation as well as using traditional teaching methods.

Learners are offered a varied curriculum and are facilitated by specialist teachers in the fields of Music, Art and Drama. Sport forms an essential part of our school day and every child is exposed to learning the basics of team sports. At Lanner House we develop emotional, spiritual, physical and intellectual growth in all our learners.

Our academic learning is rounded off by regular outdoor educational excursions to local places of interest and visits by professional to our school as well as outdoor adventure trips.
